SSA students have won Round 1 of the Debate Mate Secondary Urban Debate League in BOTH the National and London competitions. The students have been extremely successful as they managed to beat over 100 schools across the country!

This is a truly outstanding result for our students in the early stages of the Urban Debate League.

During Round 1, the students were presented with two unseen motions and were given just 15 minutes to prepare… the first motion was “Politicians private lives should be kept private” and the second motion was “Disciplinary measures in schools should be banned”.
