NPQLTD Conference Welcomes New Cohort at SSA
School Events
On Thursday 20th November, the GR site hosted the welcoming conference for the National Professional Qualification in Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD). The event was co-facilitated by Mariam Khaliq and Charlotte Robinson, who led the session with professionalism and enthusiasm.
The conference introduced participants to the programme’s aims, structure and expectations, outlining the key milestones they will work towards throughout the course. Mariam and Charlotte created an engaging and supportive environment, encouraging attendees to reflect on their own school contexts and development goals. The session highlighted the core principles of effective teacher development and the importance of evidence-based practice in driving meaningful improvement.
A strong sense of community and shared purpose was established from the outset, helping participants feel confident and prepared as they embark on their NPQLTD journey.
Although participants shared many positive comments throughout the day, one common theme stood out—their appreciation for the warm hospitality, particularly the generous selection of snacks, hot drinks and lunch provided.
The conference set a positive tone for what promises to be an inspiring and impactful programme ahead.
