Newham Campaign for Young People
Celebrating Success
We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news from our school community!
Recently, a representative from Newham visited our school to interview Zarwa, one of our outstanding student leaders, as part of an upcoming campaign celebrating young people in the borough. The Newham team were highly impressed by everything Zarwa has achieved both in and out of school, and were eager to learn more about her journey.
During the visit, a professional camera crew joined us, and Zarwa confidently took on the role of host; showing them around the school and speaking bravely on camera about her experiences. She represented our school with maturity, confidence and pride.
Zarwa is a committed and hardworking 14-year-old who has developed remarkable confidence and discipline through her involvement with the Royal Air Force Cadets. This experience has strengthened her teamwork, leadership skills and sense of responsibility.
Academically, Zarwa continues to excel, achieving strong grades across her subjects, particularly in science. She has clear ambitions to pursue a future career in the medical field.
Beyond the classroom, Zarwa is deeply involved in her community. She volunteers at her local library, supporting younger children with reading, and has contributed to local food banks. These experiences highlight her kindness, leadership and genuine commitment to helping others.
As a valued member of our Student Leadership Team, Zarwa plays an important role in representing student voice and helping to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
Overall, Zarwa is a motivated and inspiring young person who truly embodies the spirit of the Newham campaign. She is a fantastic example of how opportunities such as cadets, volunteering and leadership roles can help young people grow, succeed and give back to their community.
We are all incredibly excited for the campaign to be released and cannot wait to see Zarwa shine on our television screens!
