UKMT Junior Maths Challenge at Our School

Students at our school recently took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge, a national mathematics competition organised by the UK Mathematics Trust. Aimed at students in Years 7 and 8, the challenge encouraged the development of mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and logical thinking.

The competition consisted of 25 multiple-choice questions, completed within 60 minutes without the use of calculators. The questions were designed to be accessible while gradually increasing in difficulty, allowing all students to build confidence and enjoy mathematics, while also providing a challenge for more able participants.

We were delighted to host this exciting event and were proud of the enthusiasm and effort shown by all students who took part in this nationally recognised competition.
