Stratford School Academy (SSA) have been crowned Year 10 league champions after completing an unbeaten campaign, showcasing flair, confidence, and resilience throughout the season.

Heading into the final fixture against Oasis, SSA sat at the top of the table knowing that avoiding defeat would secure the title. What followed was a tense and dramatic encounter that kept spectators on edge from start to finish.

SSA took the lead on three separate occasions, demonstrating their attacking quality and determination to seal the championship in style. However, Oasis proved to be formidable opponents, responding each time with impressive character and composure to level the score and delay the celebrations.

Despite Oasis’ relentless fightback, the match ended in a draw—just enough for SSA to clinch the title and confirm their status as league winners.

The standout performance came from Year 9 talent Umar Ahmed, who delivered a sensational display by scoring two brilliant solo goals. His individual brilliance added a spark to the contest and played a crucial role in maintaining SSA’s advantage throughout the match. Ibraheem Malik also made an important contribution, getting on the scoresheet to put SSA ahead early in the game.

SSA’s unbeaten run and consistent performances across the season ultimately proved decisive. Their ability to stay composed under pressure in the final match reflected the qualities that have defined their campaign.

With the title secured, SSA can celebrate a remarkable season that combined skill, teamwork, and determination—worthy champions who earned their success the hard way.
